RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
No 1167 of 20 September 2004.

ON FORMATION OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR PREPARING AND HOLDING IN 2006 IN THE CITY OF MINSK THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE OCCASION OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CATASTROPHE AT THE CHERNOBYL NPP

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECREES:

1. To form the Organizing Committee for preparing and holding in 2006 in the city of Minsk the International Conference on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl NPP composed of in accordance to the Annex.

The aforementioned Committee shall:

by 15 October 2004, develop and approve a plan of preparation and holding of the International Conference on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl NPP;

organize activities to attract financial resources of international organisations and Western donor countries to hold the Conference.

2. To impose control over the preparation and holding of the International Conference on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the catastrophe at the Chernobyl NPP on the Committee on the Problems of the Consequences of the Catastrophe at the Chernobyl NPP under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
